Uganda safari 7 days / 6 nights tourgorillas chimpanzees wild life 2023 – german guided tour
Day 1 – Entebbe Gorilla Tours
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred for overnight in BB to the hotel, at 2Friends Beach Hotel / Papyrus Guest House. BB
Day 2 – Murchison Falls National Park
Full Board. After breakfast your adventure in Uganda begins by driving west towards to Fort Portal, with breathtaking panoramic sceneries. Stop over for a cup of coffee and lunch en route. Later in the afternoon, arrive in Fort Portal the capital town of Tooro kingdom which lies on the shadow of Rwenzori Mountains, the biggest mountain range in Africa. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House / Isunga Lodge (E) Full Board

Day 3 – Kibale National Park – Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, today you go for a primate trek / guided chimpanzee walk in Kibale Forest National Park for experiencing the rain tropical forest, and especially to encounter the chimpanzees in their natural environment. Other primates you might see while on the trek include black and white colobus, red tailed monkey and velvet monkey. After lunch, visit the eco-tourist site of Bigodi for village walk (you also have the opportunity to taste the Ugandan cuisine at KAFRED). The Bigodi walk is a local initiative project organized by the local community of KAFRED. In the evening, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The transfer will last about 3 hours and you will arrive at the park in time for dinner at Enganzi Lodge / Kasenyi Safari Lodge (E).
Day 4 – Queen Elizabeth Park – Ishasha Sector
After early breakfast, proceed for a game drive in the plains of Kasenyi. Lunch and in the afternoon take the most exciting safari by boat from Mweya peninsula along the Kazinga channel. This is one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife, bird’s life and opportunities for good photographs. Moreover, you will see plenty of hippos, buffaloes and elephants while drinking from the channel. By evening, the journey then proceeds the short transfer to the southern sector, Ishasha. This is a vast savannah between the rivers: Ishasha and Ntungwe. Dinner and overnight at Ishasha Jungle Lodge / Enjojo Lodge.

Day 5 – Ishasha – Bwindi Forest National Park
After breakfast, morning game drive in search of the “tree climbing lions” which are seen during the hot hours of the day, as they lie resting on top of Figs trees. See also herds of buffaloes, elephants, topi antelopes and more. Lunch box OR hot lunch (depending on your next overnight stay at Bwindi forest). Leave Queen Elizabeth and head southwards, where you find the rain tropical forests which are the natural habitat for the endangered mountain gorillas. Reach Bwindi National Park by evening for dinner and overnight, Lake Mulehe Bwindi Gorilla Lodge / Rushaga Gorilla Camp / Bakiga Lodge (E).
Note: Today transfer can be from 5 hours and depends on accommodation selected, roads conditions and place of allocation of gorilla permits. The choice of the area of the gorilla safari depends on the availability of permits at time of booking the trip.
Day 6 – Mountain gorilla safari – Lake Mburo
In the morning you enter the rain tropical forest of Bwindi for the gorilla safari. The activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of about 420 gorillas, which is more than half of the world population according to 2018 gorilla population surveys. It is not predictable the time you will spend to encounter the gorillas. You have one hour for observing the primates and their behaviors, while taking photographs. Ensure you take the packed lunch and water with you in the bag and for this you might need the support of available porters. By evening, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest of Ugandan National Parks. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages Mburo / Mpogo Lodge / Rwakobo Rock Lodge (E).
Day 7 – Lake Mburo – Entebbe
Half Board. After breakfast, game drive (or optional, you can enjoy a nature walk). Lunch and proceed back to Entebbe. Reserved for departure from Entebbe International airport. Lunch en route.
