10 Days / 9 Nights-Tour Gorilla-Safari Tour
Day 1 – Entebbe:
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred for an overnight stay in BB to the hotel, at 2Friends Beach Hotel/ Papyrus Guest House
Day 2 – Gorilla Tours Murchison Falls National Park:
Full Board. After breakfast, your adventure in Uganda begins by driving northwest towards Masindi and Murchison Falls conservation area, the largest conservation area in Uganda, which offers beautiful sceneries of grassland acacia savannah in the north and tropical forests in the south.
You will stop over for a nature walk at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, the breeding project which is nurturing the rebirth of the endangered white rhinos in Uganda. You can see them closely while walking freely in the reserve which is their natural habitat. Lunch at the restaurant at the Sanctuary. Proceed to the national park thereafter and visit “top of the falls”, where the river Nile creates a narrow canyon of thunderous water as it lowers down the Albertine Ritt Valley. Check into your lodge for dinner and overnight, Pakuba Lodge.
Note: Today’s transfer is about 6 hours’ drive, part of it through dirt road within the park for a distance of about 350 km.
Day 3 – Gorilla Tours Murchison Falls National Park (Safari game drives and Water cruise safari):
Full Board. After breakfast you will embark on an early morning game drive, explore the savannah in the delta of the Nile on Lake Albert, Northern bank. As you view and take memorable photographs of the animals in the wild, you might find elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, spotted hyenas and, very rarely, the leopards. Drive back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you take the boat excursion along the river Nile to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. lt is amazing the concentration of wildlife in the bank of the river Nile, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird’s species, like African eagles, pelicans, kingfisher, Egyptian geese and much more. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Lodge.
Day 4 – Guided safari walk – Kibale Forest Forest National Park:
Full Board. Early morning after breakfast at your lodge, enjoy a guided safari walk with a ranger and guide inside the park for game viewing. Later, proceed out of the park and continue southwest along Lake Albert and the Rift Valley escarpment, with breathtaking panoramic sceneries. Stop over for a cup of coffee and lunch en raute. Later in the afternoon, arrive in Fort Portal the capital town of Tooro kingdom which lies on the shadow of Rwenzori Mountains, the biggest mountain range in Africa. Day 5 – Kibale National Park – Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi:
After breakfast, today you go for a primate trek / guided chimpanzee walk in Kibale Forest National Park for experiencing the rain tropical forest, and especially to encounter the chimpanzees in their natural environment. Other primates you might see while on the trek include black and white colobus, red tailed monkey and velvet monkey. After lunch, visit the eco-tourist site of Bigodi for village walk (you also have the opportunity to taste the Ugandan cuisine at KAFRED). The Bigodi walk is a local initiative project organized by the local community of KAFRED. Return at leisure to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House / lsunga Lodge, Full Board
Day 6 – Queen Elizabeth National Park:
In the morning after relaxed breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The transfer will last about 3 hours and you will arrive at the park in time for Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon take the most exciting safari by boat from Mweya peninsula along the Kazinga channel. This is one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife, bird’s life and opportunities for good photographs. Moreover, you will see plenty of hippos, buffaloes and elephants while drinking from the channel. Return at lush to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Enganzi Lodge / Kasenyi Safari Lodge.

Day 7 – Queen Elizabeth Park – lshasha Seetor:
After early breakfast, proceed for another game drive in the plains of Kasenyi and then proceeds the short transfer to the southern sector, lshasha. This is a vast savannah between the rivers: lshasha and Ntungwe. Lunch at the camp in lshasha and prepare for the evening game drive in search of the “tree climbing lions” which are seen during the hot hours of the day, as they lie resting on top of Figs trees. See also herds of buffaloes, elephants, topi antelopes and more. Return at lush to the camp for dinner and overnight at lshasha Jungle Lodge / Enjojo Lodge.

Day 8 – lshasha – Bwindi Forest National Park:
After breakfast, final safari drive in lshasha and finally, leave the Queen Elizabeth and head southwards, where you find the rain tropical forests which are the natural habitat for the endangered mountain gorillas. Lunch. Reach Bwindi National Park by evening for dinner and overnight, Lake Mulehe Bwindi Gorilla Lodge / Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Note: Today’s transfer can be from 5 hours and depends on accommodation selected, roads conditions and place of allocation of gorilla permits. The choice of the area of the gorilla safari depends on the availability of permits at time of booking the trip.
Day 9 – Mountain gorilla safari – Lake Mburo:
In the morning you enter the rain tropical forest of Bwindi for the gorilla safari. The activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of about 420 gorillas, which is more than half of the world population according to 2018 gorilla population surveys. lt is not predictable the time you will spend to encounter the gorillas. You have one hour for observing the primates and their behaviors, while taking photographs. Ensure you take the packed lunch and water with you in the bag and for this you might need the support of available porters. By evening, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest of Ugandan National Parks. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia Cottages Mburo / Mpogo Lodge.
Day 10 – Lake Mburo – Entebbe:
Half Board. After breakfast, game drive (or optional, you can enjoy a nature walk). Lunch and proceed back to Entebbe. Reserved for departure from Entebbe International airport. Lunchen route.
